Pumpkin Spice from our autumn collection last year is back! This year, we added the option of a hand-dyed macrame maple leaf!
The macrame maple leaf is braided by Joette from @knoette.co and we dip dye them with the leashes.
These soft, supple and sturdy leashes are handcrafted from 100% natural 3-strand twisted cotton rope, with no synthetic fillers.
They are dip dyed in eco-friendly, non-toxic fabric dye followed by a colour retaining soak and stain-resistant coating.
To construct the handle loop and to attach the snap hook, the ropes are spliced^ and then whipped* for extra durability.
^Splicing is a traditional weaving technique commonly used by sailors to join ropes.
*Whipping keeps the rope ends from fraying.
