Waterproof Two-tone Martingale Collar

Please compare the following sizes to your dog's measurement by using soft measuring tape. (eg. 46cm>39cm)

The First measurement indicated is the maximum circumference of the collar when the chain is relaxed.
Set your measuring tape to this measurement (46cm in this example) and check that:
1. you are able to slip the collar over your pup's head, and
2. it sits comfortably on your dog's neck.

The Second measurement indicated is the minimum circumference of the collar when the chain is fully constricted.
Set your measuring tape to this measurement (39cm in this example) around your pup's neck and check that:
1. the collar will lock behind your pup's ears and not slip out of your pup's head, and
2. you are comfortable with the amount of pressure (or lack-of) on your pup's neck. This is the tightest the collar will go when they are tugging.

Biothane® USA straps

The chain links are stainless steel and plated gold or rose gold.

With wear and tear, the appearance of the gold chains will become lighter and eventually the silver colour of the stainless steel will peek through. The rose gold on the other hand becomes darker with use, and will look more bronze. They do not affect the integrity the the product and does not rust.

The screws are made of solid brass. 

Simply wipe down with a wet wipe or damp cloth for light cleaning, or use warm soapy water for thorough washing. 

The screws can also be removed for more extensive cleaning if required.

Insect repellents containing deet may cause staining or pitting on the Biothane straps. Some Fleas/ticks medication applied on the back of their neck may cause the outter coating of Biothane collars to 'crack' after some time.

It is also possible for certain colours, especially fluorescent colours, to transfer from the Beta rolls or finished products onto hair, skin or fabric. These colours are not hazardous and they should not present a health or safety hazard.  If colour transfer happens, wash with soap and water.
