This variation of our waterproof adjustable leash is specially created for pawrents who like to:
1. vary their leash lengths,
2. walk their dogs handsfree and
3. have the option of temporarily tethering their dogs.
They are made using the 19mm width Biothane®USA straps.
They come with snaps at both ends, one glide-able O ring* which you can adjust the position of and one fixed D ring at the end closer to the doggy.
*Do note that when the glide-able O ring is being repositioned, you may notice a slight dent on the strap where the ring was previously sitting. This is the nature of the material and is unavoidable.
We will send the product out without 'locking' the gliding O ring, so that it doesn't create an unintended 'dent'. Please move it to your desired position and lock it in place before using.
Choosing the length
Considerations:
The adjustable leash is measured from snap to snap.
Do take into account:
1. handle length when you fold it over to make a handle if using handheld,
2. your waist measurement when using around waist, and
3. you and your dog's height difference when using as a sling across your shoulder.
Recommendations:
5ft is good to be used handheld.
6ft can be used handheld or around your waist.
7ft, 8ft can be used handheld, around your waist or over shoulder.
Care
Simply wipe down with a wet wipe or damp cloth for light cleaning, or use warm soapy water for thorough washing.
The screws can also be removed for more extensive cleaning if required.
Insect repellents containing deet may cause staining or pitting on the Biothane straps. Some Fleas/ticks medication applied on the back of their neck may cause the outter coating of Biothane collars to 'crack' after some time.
It is also possible for certain colours, especially fluorescent colours, to transfer from the Beta rolls or finished products onto hair, skin or fabric. These colours are not hazardous and they should not present a health or safety hazard. If colour transfer happens, wash with soap and water.

Note: A slight sheen may be present on certain areas of the strap surface after personalisation. This is more noticeable on darker straps than lighter straps.
